This also seems to share a lot of design cues from the upcoming XM. Side silhouette, the rear spoiler shape, the side window shape

IDK the IX1 is a compact suv, and with that, in EV form, it would be limited as only so much room for battery... It probably won't get a ton of range so it wouldn't be competitive with the Y. This is a FWD platform and I think perhaps will be shared with mini??? |

For an entry level SUV it looks two generations better. Great job BMW. If they don't raise the price too much they will sell in record numbers.

Anyone know the KWH for the iX1? I also think it will be interesting to see how bmw does this the power of choice and will see if you have three options for the same car with different powertrains that folks pick. How it makes them go in one direction or another. |

Hard not to like it. Looks great. Now let's just hope it doesn't drive like the previous X1 and we have a winner.

On the non-dedicated platform, the i4 also has a slightly lower range compared to a TM3 but they still brought that over here and looks like itll be a major player in that segment. |

If I wanted a Skoda, I'd just buy a Skoda.
Also: WHERE TF is the iDrive knob? Why remove the one thing that made BMW interiors better than the rest???

Let's be real here the same way we hammer BMW for strange designs, we should clap when good designs arrive This is actually one of the best new designs in the last few years … the interior is just 100 times better that the current generation
