Wow that’s insane, the problem I’m seeing is the editor box is totally white, right?
Was that a one off thing for you or is it consistently happening? Or even ALWAYS happening?

Yup that’s what I’m thinking is the best solution…. Shouldn’t be that hard at all.

Thinking out loud right now, the default will be the way it is now, and you would have to set it to skip confirmation as a setting.

Keep an eye out for the next update either tomorrow or in a few days that will include that update, if it makes the cut it will be in the release notes 👍

I tried to reply 4 times in dark mode. Everytime I either tried to reply, or start a new post, it defaulted to white text. I turned off dark mode, for the night, so, I could use the app.

Can you totally close/shut down the app and open it from scratch (should see the blue splash screen at the start) and let me know if it is still white?

Still white. Closed and got the BP logo on the splash screen.

Ok Yes that is very wrong. Even the colors in the editor box are not the way its supposed to be….

Do you mind if I ask what phone and what iOS version you are on so I can try to drill down on what is going on there?

Anyone else out there having dark mode issues?

**** EDIT: I looked at the top of your screen shot—- duh I know what it is. iPhone 14pro and iOS 16

I’m using it on the same device and it looks great, but I did make a change that might fix it for you, look for it in the next update in the next day or two

Are you using the auto bright -> dark mode or the fixed dark mode?

Auto bright. Not sure if you just did an adjustment or it was my phone, but it looks like now it’s working. If I didn’t have screenshots, it would be hard to believe.
Also, when you attach an image, there is no return to message button. I have to swipe down after I upload a picture, because once you attach a pic, it doesn’t automatically go back to the message to type.

Oh wow, that’s very cool. Nothing done on my end, but I did make some changes at least to get your keyboard to be dark mode.

That’s one weird bug I have to say— Never seen it before and the app has been in production for a long time on the Android side without anything like that happening. Maybe it has to do with auto change. Like you started using the app when it was on bright mode, and then when it auto switched to dark it got confused.

The app right now wont auto switch, it has to be totally closed and exited and restarted to take on whatever mode you are in. I will have to work on getting it to auto adjust for a future version for sure

i am unable to login to the app.

also there is no password reset on the new app

I am able to login through the desktop with my password
but the app just says login failed.

I've posted in the G80 forum and on the Bimmerpost FB page, but I have been having a ton of issues since the update. Got logged out on all my devices, and it took me 12+ hours to reset my PW (with all the timeouts), finally got the PW reset with my iMac, but I can't sign in on the iOS app (iPhone or iPad) and I can't even sign in on Safari on my iPad. I hardly use my iMac, so that means I won't be able to be as active in the community as I used to be. Any help? Anyone else with similar issues?

Also, FWIW, things I have tried: deleting and reinstalling the App, rebooting both devices, clearing cache, etc. Pretty frustrated right now.

I think I have an idea what’s happening for the two of you, will have an update out soon to see if we can address it

Thanks, but I can't understand why I can't log in with safari on my iPad (iPad Pro 2021, 12.9. iOS 16.1.1) and I know my PW is correct.
