Is this on the E30?
lol, this is a great thread. Stop being a woman and open the hood and shoo those guys out of there. They're just rats. Get a broom and wack em away, spread some poison around for when they return, and viola!! If you're creeped out they'll bite get some thick gloves and then do it. Man up!!! Haha

hang a female and male rat infront of the car with their azz facing the engine bay and wait for the rat to come out for sexual activity, then take a shotgun and finish it.

i would try to get the rat out ASAP because he will start chewing on those wires and due to the fact that there is no electricity in your car he wont die while bitting it.BE A MAN AND USE A STICK AND POKE HIM OUT OF YOUR CAR!!!

I've witnessed rats jump out from under my parent's car before so it's not uncommon...although it was a Ford that had a larger engine bay. There would be dog food stored in the car's engine bay from where the rats were hiding. Car was garaged too, so if rats can get into your garage, they will get into your car.

.. i had a mouse living in the exhaust of my jetski.. i started it up after the winter and all sorts of tangled fibers were shot out in bunches.. i was so very confused at first!! but my mechanic informed me that it was from a mouse..
.. because theres more than one it leads me to think they made a home in there.. id say scare them away, get the car started and move it, then put some rat traps around it.. i wouldnt use poison, they may end up rotting in the car..

Sorry for the late response....
It's not in the E30, but in the engine bay of my Typhoon. They made a nice nest inside the engine bay. The found one of my red cloths I use to wipe down parts and made a bed out of it. I bought some glue boards and a big rat trap. Next day, the glue board disappeared. I found it at the other end of the yard with fur on it. Next, I checked the trap. The trap disappeared, but I found the trap elsewhere. The trap worked and the rat ran with the trap and jumped over a concrete barrier where it died. There's one more left... Gary |
