I admit when I saw people jumping on the bed and the wine glass not falling over, I was a bit worried about "the bounce" that we tended to enjoy. Not a problem at all on the temper. I don't end up with marks on my hands when up on knuckles to get a better angle, nor do my wrists hurt when hands are out straight. Her hands/knees don't get all red any longer, there is that extra bit of cushion.

Now, when her "wine" flows it tends to spread a lot quicker into the mattress, so towels are a must these days.

I've never had a hard time having sex anywhere, and I can sure as hell say that a tempurpedic would be on the lowest end of the spectrum for discomfort compared to everywhere else.

tldr: I want to get a tempurpedic.

And it's 10 times harder to do top position in tempurpedic because your arm just sinks into the foam....
i think it also depends on how hard your foam is

Back in 2006 I planned a Las Vegas getaway with my then g/f. Halfway into the getaway, I hear her whispering to her sister on her cell, so I ask, what is it you're whispering about? She says her sister says your b/f must be really cheap to take you to Vegas and book the stay at Circus Circus.

Needless to say 3 days after we got back she broke up with me, and I still have to pay child support to this day.

Sounds like you'll be paying for another 10 years or so.

I've actually been considering just that...perhaps including a sex swing, lots of mirrors, and perhaps a head board with lots of grip and tie off points

Kids to prove it? LOL- I'm not concerned with being unable to copulate on memory foam- I'm concerned with every motion being damped and resisted diminishing the experience. Hands and feet sinking...bottom partner sinking....no return of momentum for cowgirl or when she's face up or down and I push on her hips or butt (that's a FUN one)!

We went to a few mattress stored yesterday. Memory foam was super comfy, but they noticeably resisted any motion...even tougher to get out of. The salesman looked like he knew what was up when we bounce tested every mattress.

Only found one latex and it was a bit soft for our taste, but we otherwise liked it. It's foam, but with a springy lightly damped rebound. Coil mattresses with a pillow, foam or latex top were nice too. Pillow tops break down quickly though

So many choices- I'm insure what to do! Option overload!

Wish I can say from experience... Back when I had a luxury apartment and still had a fresh motorcycle injury and a bit of money in my bank account, I had a Tempur-Pedic mattress and got some of my best sleep ever... But no woman in my life, not even a one-nighter or FWB.

Whatever you do , don't buy a sleep number bed(fancy air bed). It feels good in the store but when you bring it home it's hard to find the right setting. Customer service tries to help you the first 100 days money back guarantee but after that they don't call back. It's great that it's adjustable but for me the setting is very low to where it's almost deflated and every time i want to cuddle with my wife i'd have to climb up to her side of the bed.

If you buy foam, go a step firmer than what you like in the store especially if you cuddle.

I love ours, just wish it was a hair firmer.

I went through this same process a year ago.

We bought a 10" all latex mattress from http://www.sleepez.com/

You call them up, they ask you a few questions about how firm you want the mattress, then they ship it to you. This mattress has 3 layers that they can adjust the firmness levels with.

We've had it for a year now and I've never slept better.

Not speaking from experience and never thought about until I saw this thread. Sex would suck on the Foam bed, why, watch the commercials, the bed does not move. A regular old fashion bed with spring has equal and opposite reaction. It requires less work for the person on the top, the spring give it bonce. Now if like sex on hard surfaces go for it.

I have look at the Foam beds and have consider them a few times, but hear too may sleeping issue with them. First if you live in places where it gets hot and cold, like the northern parts of the country the foam is hard and stiff until it warms up from your body heat, and when it hot the bed stays hot as well.

I like the one idea someone say about not sleeping where you have sex, yeah works when no one else lives in your house, add kids to the equation and you relegate to your room. pre-kids and we had sex everyone but our bed.

I guess sex could be good on a foam best since it would not squeak and everyone in the house would not know what you doing unless your partner is a screamer.

Get the best one you can afford the first time around. Yes the good ones are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

We thought it was too much, so we bought a less expensive one. Started to regret it about 2 weeks in, but foolishly kept it, hoping for it to "get better". (don't ask... )

Anyway, had it for 3 years, before we had enough, and bought a new expensive one. Ended up costing us even more than it would if we just bought the good one to start with.

Unless you absolutely cannot afford it, you will regret having bought a $900 one more than you will regret spending $3k on a good one, trust me.

The mattress may not squeak, but unless you put MUCH better slats across the frame for support, the extra weight of the mattress will wake the neighbors' dead. I went with 1x8 oak, the 1x6 pine wasn't even enough.

With metal braces reinforcing it and baby powder to reduce the friction in between the wooden joints... I have my bed all set up to be stealth, but the floor is another issue... I didn't realize this until a neighbor in an apartment I lived in my neighbor decided to screw on their couch (the next wall over is their living room), and both me and my then-girlfriend had an interesting awakening one morning when we felt an "earthquake" until we heard moaning
