Won't deny the performance but Jesus Christ it's like Honda had the objective to make a car so tasteless that it'd be impossible to affix anything from an APC catalog to it. |

Torque is what customers want. Can't blame Honda for finally offering that to them. |

I somehow doubt people will be cross-shopping the NSX with the Ford GT. The NSX won't cost around $400k.

I like it, but I actually don't like that the high revving motor is gone. Maybe in the next iteration of the civic type-r, they'll bring back a high revving motor accompanied by KERS.

The looks are hideous, but you can't knock that lap time.
For what the car will likely cost, I'm sure the market is going to be VERY slim, considering it is still and always will be a Civic. Guess it depends on what you want out of the car, and if it's merely performance in a great DD, I don't see this being such a bad option. |

Too much is just too much. What happened to the days where a type R meant only subtle changes to the base model (aesthetically)? This is seriously just too much. At least, they improved the ass area compared to the concept. Performance wise, I don't doubt Honda will do wonders for this car.

It's fast around the 'Ring - no doubt about that.
But I can't help but think the 'Type R' demographic have moved on to different things. Honda really lost their way with young enthusiasts after the RSX...which never really captured us like the Integra did before. Be interested to see how this sells in the states! |

Looks somewhat similar to the WTCC TC1 class car. It does not look great (by that I mean it looks stupid), but if it does more than sharing the looks, it must be pretty capable, and I can forget looking stupid if function > form.

Go look at the prices for the original 2004 - 2005 Ford GT. They are near $400K now...

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
