LOL, yeah I need to start of my collection with some quality. I've picked it out, and run some options by jtodd_fl. I'm actually pretty excited about it, I've learned a lot of shit in a short amount of time.

But that works for me, I'm a homebody, anyway. After bills/mortgage/workout supplements are taken care of, I'm basically stuck at home.

Gotta have a watch to do the obligatory steering wheel shot.

I purchased a Tudor recently. I'm extremely happy with it since it didn't break the bank and it will hold me over until I find my next watch. I originally wanted a Speedmaster Professional but I wasn't a fan of the manual wind. But recently, I've had the itch to suck it up and buy one anyway.

About once a week, after the roosters are done crowing, I fire this up. Neighbors LOVE me for so many reasons. Although, I DID take the ballast out of the pipe since that picture was taken . . .

The Speedy is a classic manual wind. Do it. If you want an auto, get the SeaMaster.

Awesome! Lol why are you not a fan of the manual wind? I can stomach a manual wind if the movement is intricate enough, which is generally the case with that style movement. I was telling dad about the Speedmaster Moonphase, which is actually what I may end up shooting for, or a Breguet Chronograph. Moonphase is a Master Chronometer though, but the Breguet is slightly more aesthetically pleasing. I've got quite a bit in savings, just need to figure out which one to blow it on after the car is acquired.

Okay, we can't derail every thread with watch talk.

I mean we can, technically silvergray545 started it.

EDIT: Wait I started it. Never mind. Carry on.

Know you like to roll strapped. I have a rubber strap (on?) that I use with this watch too.

I know...I just don't like the Seamaster. And I know there's not a better manual wind than the Speedmaster. I'm just being stubborn.

Idk, I think I'm just lazy. LOL. That's the same reason why I passed on the PAM when I was in the market for one. I'm sure I'll get over it.

I like the Speedmaster Moonphase. Solid choice. But I'm not crazy about some Breguets. Some are nice. But I look at the others and wonder why they're $20k+. Just not my style, I guess.

Also, taste. Pfft for PAMs.

Edit: no offense to people who like them... Just not my thing.

Would you rather me be in the market for a Hublot or U-Boat? Mhm, that's what I thought.
