If you haven't already, contact your banks fraud department. They may or may not help you but at least they will have a record of it in case legal action is taken.

Yes, I saw the warning signs and I still moved forward because I wanted this exhaust so bad. Is there anything we can do, maybe get Dallas PD involved? I guess its worth a shot at contacting Wells Fargo fraud as well. Since it has happened to more than one person on this forum alone, it has to be going on at other sites also.

8064121885 is a VoIP number provided by Pinger with an area code in TX

you can verifly phone numbers here http://www.whitepages.com/
under the reverse phone tag. Almost everyone has a cell not really a reason to use a voip

There are many Strong Arm Fraud collection groups in the DFW area that take these kind of cases and don't cost you a penny!
