So excited for another week of college football. I hope Texas is here to stay cause it's weird to watch them stink it up for the last few years.

When the preseason rankings came out I thought they were mostly complete BS. I thought many teams were ranked waaaaay too high. But the more I look at them, I realize someone has to be ranked up in the high spots, and this year it just seems like there is less of a difference between the teams up high and the teams further down. Sure it seemed like a few teams didn't belong in the top 10, but then I had trouble justifying putting other teams in the top 10 instead. A team may be ranked in the top 10, but I don't think the separation between those teams and the teams in the 20-25 spots is a big as in previous years. At least not at this point in the season. I think there is going to be a lot of movement in the rankings this year based on the eye test rather than pure wins and losses. More than in previous years, how a team plays will have more impact.

Happy we could help fix that for ya! >>>----Go Noles---> Looking forward to our game in October- I know ya'll be ready by then! AS a Noles fan tho, I gotta say that I'm impressed with the way Charleston Southern played this past Saturday even tho the scoreboard doesn't reflect their efforts. They played well and clean to the very end when many other teams would have, or have indeed, become belligerent & bitchy and started to toss off cheap shots. Class act - I've got nothing but good wishes to them and much success with the rest of their season.

There are several good games to watch this weekend.
Ohio St. v Oklahoma FSU v Louisville Alabama v Ole Miss Texas A&M v Auburn Michigan St. v Notre Dame USC v Stanford Miami v Appalachian St. It's tough not to have a 5 TV set up...first world problems.

Tennessee squeezed on by against App. St.
Should be a good test for Miami unless Tennessee is overrated.

UM vs AS is probably gonna be a good game. Gotta remember that AS took a then no. 9 Tenn into overtime. Heck, they had Tenn down by 10 at halftime. AS just put the serious beat down on Old Dominion last week, and will be motivated & hungry to beat a ranked team. UM is only a 5 point favorite, so this could be totally entertaining.
Of course, since UM is an in-state rival for us I kinda hope the Canes put a FAMU level beat down on em, and everybody else they play this season. Well, except for us of course. Want the Canes to look awesome up until we destroy them...

Any team playing App St. should take them seriously. But, just because the UM vs App St. game may be a close game, it's not necessarily a good game. Richt won't let App St. sneak up on UM like they did to Tennessee. So, unless UM is a bad team or just plays bad, I think they should win by maybe a bit less than they beat FAU. If UM play like they should, I'd say they should win by about 17-21 points. Either way, I don't expect it to be a good game.
