I do Comfort Mode until the engine temps warm up.
I always drive with the M shifter in Manual no matter what driving mode I'm in. I love the 8 speed but I hate the early shifts and lack of pull when it shifts on it's own. Once she is warmed up I do a mix of Comfort and Sport. Usually Sport during city driving to hear that noise and feel the torque. The Comfort is used predominantly during my long commutes, I'll drop it into Sport when I need to do some quick passing. I do not like Eco mode at all, and I only use Sport+ when I'm doing stop light launches with clear road in front of me. If I ever take this car to the track or drag strip, I'll use Sport+ there for sure. What I really wish we had was an Individual mode. The steering feel of this car drives me crazy with how light it is... I love a heavy steering feel, ALL THE TIME.

Anytime it's a sunny and beautiful Friday or Saturday. I just stay in it if i'm on a windy enjoyable backroad. No point of using it while in traffic, driving around town, or while cruising on the freeway (until I want to downshift and get ahead of everyone).

Always Sport Mode.
It's the first thing I do when I turn my vehicle on - unless I'm reversing, then I reverse first and switch after

Went on a road trip yesterday 70% highway 30% backroads
Drove one leg entirely in eco pro (took some discipline believe me) drove the return leg entirely in sports mode eco pro leg: 28.9 mpg sport mode 29.9 mpg given I kept the sport mode revs down during the trip to try to save gas but still ripped more than a few avg speed alil lower than usual approx 75mph eco pro had the benefit of coasting yet sport mode still beat it mpg |

Eco all the way. I avoid sport mode. I get over 400 miles a tank (if mostly highway) and I avoid speeding tickets.

Not at all, Sport+ is perfect. I just wish I could have that heavy feel in Comfort mode. The throttle is so touchy in Sport and Sport+ though. IDK... after seeing the post above with 28mpg in Eco and 29mpg in Sport I might need to play around and see what my real world mileage is like. If it's close like he stated, I may just leave it in Sport/Sport+ all the time for that heavy feeling. When I look at the little fuel efficiency guage though, my MPG takes a serious dip from comfort to sport. However, that's only for brief moments of comparison. I guess I need to run a full tank in Sport to see what it actually is.

My M1 button is set to Sport+ throttle, Sport steering and Sport suspension (D2). I find this perfect for everyday driving as D3 holds the gear too high for city-driving. I'll punch it to D3 if I'm feeling frisky
I generally go to default mode when I enter my block or in bumper-to-bumper traffic. M2 is fully out with MDM mode so I only use it when there's open road. |

You're left cruising and shaking your head with embarrassment because you are driving the same car. These are usually kids that have no clue about driving or what they are driving. |

I don't have an official sport mode: power button, EDC button, and M mode. The power button is always on once the car is warmed up or unless I want a smoother clutch engagement. EDC button will be left in comfort if I have random people in the car or I'm cruising the highway for a few hours. Anytime I know I;m going to encounter turns that I can take at reasonably aggressive rates of speed, I'll firm up the dampers.
M mode will be utilized for any type of high speed work since it also firms up the steering. |

Sport, standard everyday mode;
Sport+, when friends are in the vehicle; and Eco Pro and Comfort, when boss is riding with me to lunch LOL.

I think that the full DSC off has the sport-steering but regular throttle mapping, for track use (definitely recall that there is a setting that gives you the enhanced steering w/o the over-fast throttle). I get sort of confused by all the variations on these, but there is a pretty good thread in here someplace about all of it. I've made my plans that before the summer tires go back on I'm going to figure it out enough to be able to try the e-lsd on its own.

I assume this is done through the iDrive settings somehow... I'll have to google this. Thanks for the info sir.
