Fantastic. Thanks for posting. I'll add to the "pile-on" that this car should have some sort of S-series engine in it. The S54 would be more useful for the M3 heritage, and the S62 a better choice for this particular car's vocation.

Terry Sayther in Austin, Tx built a 4-door E30 M3 wagon quite a few years ago that has an S54 motor.

What were some of the constraints that drove transplanting the M60 V8 over the S65? Cost, simplicity?

Absolutely amazing. If I had to nitpick it would be to remove the second pillar. Otherwise an amazing build.

Very cool and ambitious build (deleting rear doors must have been a PITA).
For all those in the "it's not a real M" camp, I refer you to the 3er GT M sport and every other M Sport for that matter. The point is no one can ever whore out the M name more than BMW does themselves. |

Don't call it an M3 if it isn't. Only BMW Motorsports makes a genuine M car.
Call it a 2 door e30 T

Wheels
I know it's a Griot's car, but I wouldn't want those wheels without the old, toxic, discontinued Quicksilver wheel cleaner. I had similar wheels on my first E36, and that formulation was the one and only spray on, hose off cleaner I've ever used. I try to stick with more open wheel patterns, though I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Fikse FM10s.

Nice build, but why not a quad exhaust if you are going for an M3 look? And the non-M engine is an odd choice as well. The product display is a little weird too but I understand the purpose of it (shows and promotion) - it just isn't that functional.
