Thanks. I have thick skin, so no worries about the majority of the posters. I didn't even look back on this thread after I posted the video until today to be honest. So many people in here acting like saints as if they don't drive their cars like they were meant to be driven, even on the streets! It is what it is, I'm going to let them do them and go on about my business.

I though the the cars were very considerate to the bicyclist and runners. Was there an organized run going on with course workers? They certainly didn't seemed phased by the cars.

OK so I forced myself to watch the stupid freaking video again. They're racing on a narrow road with NO shoulder and there are PEOPLE RIDING BIKES AND RUNNING IN THE ROADWAY. How fucking stupid do you have to be?

I don't have watch the video. Here in the US, it's called Vehicular Homicide when you kill somebody while irresponsiblely operating a vehicle. If you have internet when you get to prison post again and let us know how your doing.

You're absolutely right, I've been just as equally guilty of driving like a tool - as are others I'm sure, but here's the difference - none of us are thirsty enough to post the videos on forums hoping to gain traction on social media / YouTube for views when really it's just a video of how you weren't keeping up with an R8 and completely ignorant of the multitude of bicyclists...

You people are funny.

Anyways, no one was hurt in the making of this video, and the video makes it look as though we are going faster than we really are, and it also makes it look as though the road is more narrow than it really is. This was shot with a wide angle setting, so it has that effect. We were all actually very respectful to pedestrians, and slowed way down when we were passing the marathon runners. I assure you, no one in my immediate group was driving recklessly around pedestrians (can't speak for the other 25 people in the rally).
