Statefarm $560 for 6 months 250/500/250 and 500 deductible.
I also have two other cars, house, and life insurance with them so there is some kind of discount built into that. 28, clean record, 0 claims, and high credit score. |

It's awful.
Insurance plus a couple of windshields per year.

I think there are so many personal and location variables that you are wasting time comparing these quotes from so many (w/ so much unknown). You need to shop around with your demographics/locality. It also often helps to bundle policies, so your other insurance becomes a factor.
And FWIW, 100/300/100 is nowhere near the likely cost for accidents where an ambulance is called - I use an umbrella policy since it covers so much other stuff around the house/yard, and would recc that to anybody on here. |

I'm in San Francisco near or where the OP is at.
Two cars, 2008 BMW M3 and a 2014 Audi A4 - single male driver. $700 for 6 months with Wawanesa. No accidents or tickets. It was a little cheaper without the Audi when I just had the M3.

I'm planning on it! Besides, my wife and I are now at the age (mid 40s) and have the history with them to where it's hard to believe we could find better rates elsewhere. We are paying about $150/month for my M2 and her Nissan Leaf. We also have our homeowners, her life insurance, and a valuable property policy through them.

So top 3:
Amica - $1,700/year for $250/500/100 coverage. $1k deductible. Glass coverage adds anothee $100 per year. Progressive $1,540/year for $250/500/100 coverage. Includes GAP insurance and roadside assistance. Geico - $1,800/year for $300/500/100 coverage. Don’t have experience with either Geico or Progressive but if they have good customer service, I could go with them. Otherwise, don’t mind paying a bit more and go with Amica for good CS. All the other guys (State Farm, Farmers, Liberty Mutual, etc.) charge $1,400-1,600 for 6 months (or almost $3k a year!!). Damnnn. Lol |

But my body shop knows how to work with the insurance companies. On my 135i, I had also had the misfortune of having a deer strike. $6500 in damage. My body shop was also able to get all OEM parts except for the condenser coil which was done aftermarket. My insurance is State Farm and for both my wife and my situation my body shop was able to get OEM parts authorized. State Farm did want to see used or aftermarket. My body shop was able to work within State Farm's system to get the OEM parts approved. With Liberty Mutual, they were not going to pay for OEM parts. I talked to the claims adjuster making the case that the RDX was pristine before their insured caused the damage. Again my body shop was able to get OEM parts out of them. And in this situation, it doesn't matter what you have in your insurance binder since it was another insurance company/policy at play here. So as much as getting a upgraded binder to pay for OEM parts will guarantee OEM parts if you go through your insurance company, it doesn't cover you when another insurance company is paying. Again, this is where a good body shop will cover that. |

Some of the worst roads in the country plus lots of driving. I'm on number 4 in the i8. I'd add it if I were you!
