I'm not too picky about burgers... most of them to me are pretty good. In & Out, Burger King, Carl's Jr are probably my more favorite fast food places

Steak and Shake = Nasty
Fuddruckers - used to love them, but they are all gone here.
Lindbergers - local chain, lots of variety, lots of old people for some reason (?)
Five Guys - here, but have not tried them, yet.

in n' out is a nice, cheap, accessible option - ask for fries well done if you get them

some people don't like fuddrucker's, but the few times i've tried it, it's been pretty good.

red robin's is a solid choice - alot of ppl like the royal red robin burger...personally, i used to get the whiskey river bbq burger...but as of late, i've found myself ordering the burger parmigiana when i'm there.

plenty of others to mention, too lazy to comment on them all:

nation's
slider's
bullshead

and of course, if you ever pass by on the 5 between norcal and socal, harris ranch is a must
