Plus, virtually no one in New England has snowtires or chains. They are so dependent on the plows they feel they don't need them. If the plows cant get through or cant keep up, most everyone is F'd.

I'm glad the local news channels have switched their background back to Malibu/Long Beach/etc instead of "Winter Storm Watch" and the latest radar images of .5-1.0 inches of rain in red.

Wow! I think you’d better get more bread milk and this time eggs!

I wish I was in your weather band. I love big snowstorms

Jesus H, 20 inches???

Supposed to be 10 or so Cm here, so what's that, less than 5 inches. Still, neurotic white wives don't want to go out despite kids looking forward to playing with cousins. Just panic everywhere.

How else do you think extra Tupperware lids are created?

One benefit of living in a condo is I don't have to clear snow off anything but my cars.

Very happy to learn that the club I DJ at on Saturday is closed tonight. Perhaps I'll clean the AR tonight... 🤔

Possible 6 to 9 inch snow fall...not bad.
The worst is after it snow, sleet and single digit temps.

We were supposed to get 2"-4" with Champaign to our north looking at 4"-7". We got nothing but rain and a late dusting. Champaign got 1.5" before it turned to rain and melted it all. They got the late dusting as well. A big nothingburger. Looks like the northeast won't be getting away with a dusting like we did, though.

Couldn't make it to work leaving at 230am this morning. Neighborhood roads were somewhat clear but the Cty Rds were chit! Snow drifts covering the roads that haven't been plowed. What sucked most was I got stuck at my neighborhood intersection with the Cty Rd and I got stuck about halfway into the turn. Through it into reverse and didn't realize my truck was now directly behind the street sign. Backed into it as I thought I ran over some bushes.

Nothing here but rain in NYC. It’s supposed to stop by noon and temps will start to plummet around 6pm. I hope the streets dry before plummet. May wait till daylight to leave for work in morning.

I know. Im thinking about hitting the car with the leaf blower to dry it so it doesn’t freeze shut. I hope it’s not a skating rink for the morning commute.

Stupid weather people hyping up a good storm for me, we had 2" of snow then the rain washed it away.

Now they want me to be worried about it freezing, but what those weather forecasters don't realize is that I can look outside and see the roads are dry!

I've been duped once again by people with the only job that you can be wrong 80% of the time and still keep your job. I want my snow.
