Heh. Not really. Was hung over for two days

My shortlist:
Vodka - Belvedere (martini)
Whiskey - Chivas Regal (mixed) / Glenlivet 15 (straight)
Tequila - Sauza 3Gs / Don Julio (silver)
Bourbon - 4Roses (straight) / Woodford Reserve (mixed)
Liqueur - Grand Marnier (on rocks or snifter)
Cognac - Remy Martin VSOP
Sake - Kurosawa
Shochu - Ichiko

Damn...not really a short list is it

Don Julio anejo is very smooth. Regular Jose Cuervo is nasty. I have a bottle of Jose Cuervo anejo but haven't opened it yet. I prefer Scotch anyway.

agree, I'm not a tequila drinker at all, but the Julio is so smooth. I drink it straight up, too tasty to use as a mixer or in margaritas, I'll use some El Torro for that

When someone suggested I try this I thought "yuck". The price is great and it is very good straight up, on the rocks or with coke. Very rich taste. Winner of some decent Best Bourbon awards. Who'd of thunk it?

That's not actually bad...not small batch bourbon, but not bad at all.

Usually just a beer guy these days but if liquor is in order this old fave with a touch of water does the trick.

The really high end Scotch's just have too much going on for my palate.

The Glenlivet is an awesome scotch -- I was lucky enough to visit their distillery while I was in Scotland, and get some of the cask strength stuff. According to their tour guy, the Glenlivet is one of the several single malts that make up Chivas Regal, found that kind of interesting.

That's good stuff, I prefer Woodford Reserve when I'm feeling "upscale", but Jim Beam or Jack always does the trick and they are both very tasty. This might not be popular with the whiskey snobs, but has anybody ever tried Ezra Brooks? Cheap stuff and it's honestly pretty darn good for the price, that's usually my mixer with coke when I'm on a budget

You are an idiot to post something like this then, it is like me saying black liquorice makes me gag... and for some reason when I tried Jager I didn't like it.

If you don't like tequila, don't act like you have any sort of basis to give a review on it.

No, I am not trolling you, I just hate stupid people/comments/posts.
