I've live there for three years(Ca.), both LA and SF, it was enuf. But,
SF is far better for me, its just a different bred of folks and weather. But I cant see celebrating xmas with plastic tree. Im used to Fall leaves, Pumpkin Patch, White Christmas, Easter Spring celebration along side community yard sales, summer boating, cycling, marathon events and the hose of other wholesome all-american events. Makes the year go fast too! with changing weather. So saying those I refer the East coast, I like the diversity, museums, and politics of our four season season state. |

i agree with sharp. there are like 30-40 E90s in the whole city of pittsburgh, if that. and if you see one and want to give them thumbs up when they pull right next to you, they give you the "what are YOU looking at asshole" look and fly away. there are also a lot of women driving bimmers here who have absolutely no idea what they drive except that it's a BMW.
if i want to go to a meet, i have to go to NJ.

I've gone to one of the NJ/NY E90post meets in the past. Everyone seemed to get along fine. However, under everyday circumstances most BMW drivers do not seem to be be very friendly.
I probably get cut off by other BMW drivers just as often as I am cut off by a NYC cab driver (which is VERY frequent). There definitely seems to be a hierarchy among the BMW models. M3 drivers seem to go out of thier way to show that they have a faster car. I have no intention of ever racing an M3 with my 330i, but they always seem to fly past me like I'm standing still (and this seems to happen when I am just driving at a normal pace, minding my own business). I wish I could make it to the NY meet later this month, but I already had something planned that weekend.

Give me 80 degrees and sunshine all year around! I wouldn't mind! Besides, the past few years it's been raining on Christmas anyway. |

There's more to life than warm weather.
I was tired sitting in my bmw for a 2hr commute unders 90* heat, just a bad experience. Can't deal losing 5 hrs a day for commuting. I had to seek better quality of lifestyle. hope you get your wish! soon! |

Here in NL/Belgium, UK and Germany we/I have made lots of friends with other car/BMW fanatics via internet forums. And we have organized some IRL meetings/trackdays as well. Great Fun!
Northwest Europe is not very big, and it's easy to drive thru: |

My family thinks im insane to move to NY. My dad keeps asking me, how are you going to leave this weather for that?? I agree with him completely. I love san diego so much, but honestly its good to experience something else, and expand your mind. But who knows how long ill last out there..haha
