Asl I can think of is how disorganized the Italians can be and why Ferrari are so far back! Mercedes are excelling on every single level from the drivers and management all the way down. Their housekeeping or catering services are probably the best on the grid too.

This is precisely why Max turned it down don't you think, you appear to be HAM's biggest fan on here so doesn't it occur to you how would a no.2 get on with HAM in the Merc F1 team.

I'm an objective fan. I can tell you all of HAMs deficiencies. We are discussing the fact that VER ran from HAM 2 times. HAM will take on all comers. Max had two chances and refused. Statement of fact.

Trust me, they are. I spent a weekend with the team when MSC was still driving and their organization, operations and attention to detail were incredible back then...I can only imagine what they would be now.

Perhaps I should be more specific,Max WOULD be no.2 to WOLFF as soon as he joined Merc whatever the contract.

Just as Lewis was when he joined McLaren. He fought and defeated Alonso for the position.

If Max is that great, he would have done the same. Mercedes drivers are free to fight each other. He wanted #1 status walking into a top team.

Certainly not and I made no such suggestion but I don't believe the hype about how he is the best driver through things like 'extrasensory perception' as some journals appear to put it even in his footwork which is like no other.
Lots of PU functions can be controlled and tracked from the pits do you not agree.

In theory, yes. The FIA monitors EVERYTHING and they would know this. "The car must be driven alone and unaided." Look at who the single mode operation hurt... everyone but Lewis. He is cranking pole positions like crazy. It is highly likely that he finishes at 100 or even 102 before the end of the season.

If you think that the only reason HAM is winning is that many races through manipulation alone, we can't have further conversations. It is irrational in the extreme.

RBR have a history of showing EXTREME favoritism to their number one driver...you'd do better overlaying that concept on them because it is actually factual.

8.5.3 Pit to car telemetry is prohibited.

If Merc were doing this, someone would know and it would be a huge scandal.

Age ? He was "17" my friend . A year later he got his driver license over here in Belgium , at my place !

And finally he could drive with a car on our roads

2 year later RIC slammed his fist through the wall of the RB motorhome , because MAX drove him in the shadow of the picture...
And as you know : RIC is no pancake on the track !

MAX crowned himself to RB #1 by his outstanding drivers performance .
And finally RIC moved to Renault... Because he was defeated by a Belgian kid !

That would be a shame but you must remember that in F1 it's six of one and half dozen of the other and it's natural you support your driver like I support Max.
In RB at the time of VET and WEB (which I believe you refer to) it was not the fault of Christian Horner if VET attempted to show one upmanship to WEB and you could see the cars were absolutely EQUAL so it was up to WEB to fight back whatever the situation. A manager can only do so much.

Just as HAM has done, my dear friend. He has EARNED his recognition and plaudits and it's ridiculous that everyone tears him down. The best drivers end up in the best cars. It is, and every shall be, the way of Formula One.

Unfortunately I have slightly cracked tooth also to add to list so I have to go before it weakens. My new dentist is now registering NHS patients which they weren't before. I'll skip the tooth polish though...reading the news of the 3 patients who went from Ireland to Turkey for dental surgery and after teeth polishing they died. Unbelievable! Apparently they were on some medicine and it went against whatever was used as tooth polish paste.
