I have my outside lights up! but i haven't done anything inside the house yet. so i'll wait til those are done before i post pics!

I don't turn mine on until december but get them up early november at the latest. I am a short tempered guy and tryign to fuck about with fiddly arse lights with gloves on drives me absolutely mental.

Our friends run a lot off of Vets in Metairie. Perino's always has a nice selection.

Will post some pics later. I'm so damn excited. This is my favorite part of getting ready for the holiday!

Got our trees! We're letting the flocked one open tonight because the branches haven't all dropped. We plan to add lights & decorate tomorrow night.

The one with lights is in our bedroom. For some reason, it has an off color sport in the picture but in person it doesn't look like that.

Did you put the lights up yourself? I have a 2 story and have no desire to climb up to put up lights haha lights only in front of house.

I think I need to go to Lowe's for more lights now...

haha thanks! i did put them up myself. i use to climb utility poles so i'm not afraid of heights

Keeping our tree simple this year, and we forgot to get a carpet so we just use white cloth.

So far I've only dolled up the bushes. Went to go do the roof line and found that my extension ladder is a couple feet shy from me *safely* reaching the ridge. Gotta grab my neighbor's and finish it up hopefully today.

Nice! We'll be tossing this year's tree on our "old" Land Cruiser this weekend. We have a local tree farm a couple miles from the house.
