Not just lengthened, all new shots and more; "While the basic framework of the story is the same, dozens of additional scenes, backstories, mythos, worldbuilding elements, new characters, and teases for upcoming films are present in Snyder's version but not the theatrical release.[44][45] Zack Snyder's Justice League will not include any scenes shot by Whedon for the theatrical cut,[46] and former Warner Bros. executives Jon Berg and Geoff Johns—who oversaw the production of the theatrical release—chose not to retain credit for Snyder's version." |

Hopefully all future HBO movies are in 4K with Dolby Atmos. I was worried about this until they announced WW1984 would be 4K. HBO has been seriously behind the times with streaming quality.

Well hot DAMN!!! HBOMAX will exclusively release the R rated version!
Zack Snyder about to redeem the entire DC franchise! https://thedirect.com/article/justic...olence-hbo-max SNYDER'S R RATING COMES TO FRUITION Zack Snyder teased a couple of months ago that the Snyder Cut would have an R rating, especially with the potential of an F-bomb or two from Ben Affleck's Batman. This comes on top of reports that the movie would up the violence to new levels of brutality, including a Steppenwolf that would rip people in half. Now that Snyder has the freedom to make the Justice League movie he wants to make, he seems to be holding nothing back this time around. The real question that remains now is how hard of an R rating this movie will use. It has the opportunity to go as dark and violent as Snyder sees fit, so we can only imagine that will mean some dark, bloody fun. Most of the specific plot details are still unknown, but with this rating, expectations can be formed for some of what will appear on screen in this revamped movie. The violence will be there, the language will be there, and the R rating should make for more adult content in this movie than any in the DCEU. The R-rated Snyder Cut of Justice League will premiere on HBO Max on March 18, 2021. Last edited by TXSTYLE; 02-03-2021 at 10:50 AM.. |

And then there's this...
Now THIS is the real, true JOKER! 💯 Not some over dramatic Broadway character.

Meh. I think lots of ppl will be disappointed. It’s the same movie and storyline except longer. Maybe it’ll be a bit better than the original but not like it’s a remake.

I'm going to wait to see what the reviews look like. It seems that a lot of the "EPIC" major motion pictures have been staggering disappointments lately. WW 1984, Coming 2 America come to mind.

I thoroughly enjoyed Zack Snyder's Justice League. It was far from perfect, but all of the flaws are completely forgettable if you just want to sit down and be immersed in a comic book world. This movie is an experience, and I urge you to set aside the time to sit through it all in one day. Make sure to sit through the credits too, I think the music choice is great for reflecting on what you just witnessed.
Full disclosure, I HATED the theatrical release and am definitely a Zack Snyder fan.

I'll probably wait to see what some of my BP peeps have to say given seemingly similar tastes w/ some of them.
I am not a Snyder fan (or any particular director for that matter) and haven't liked any of the DC movies to date. I also hated the original JL movie and didnt make it through it. I like comic movies, though, and I keeping hoping DC will pick up but 4 hours of something I've kinda of already saw and disliked isn't all that attractive. I'm all for all action, little story (Undisputed 2-4!) but, damn...4hrs of re-cut?...
