I picked mine up over the weekend. Amazing...
Anyone know how to use one of the side buttons to toggle Bluetooth on / off?

you can't really do that...but you can go to settings > options > screen/keyboard > down to left/right convenience keys and select one of them to open up manage connections. hope this helps...

Thanks, I just hope that I wasn't missing something... I played around with it all weekend. Unlike my old 8100 Pearl which allowed the toggling, I wanted to do this for the Bold to conserve battery power. But it looks like the battery life is pretty good even with BT left on.

diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks. i use blackberry for messaging, email (push email FTW), and browser. i could really care less about TV out or other media functions, i've got an ipod for that. plus, sprint is an automatic disqualifier for me.

Really, I charged it on Friday connected to my router at home through wifi. Played around with it lots and didn't charge til Sat midnight and it still had 65%. Is there a higher performance mode for wifi? Thanks!

no, it works as fast as it can, but due to just limitations in phone power (because you can't put a 3ghz processor in a phone), it works as fast as it can. the processor in it is pretty damn fast though! much improved over previous models, i can really row through the windows quickly whereas i couldn't with my curve. how do you like yours? and where did you get it over the weekend?

the ATT version is the Fuze, and should be out soon. But ya, crackberry addicts don't stray from it that often. Windows mobile phones have push mail via MS Exchange Server (HTML email FTW) Nice phone tho... enjoy!

My question was the other way.... With my wifi as the preferred connection at home, the Bold seems really good for battery life.... I guess if used it to surf for a couple of hours, it will suck power. My work got it for me from Rogers Canada.
