I got sick of mine so much I was planning on getting out of the military, however coming back to the U.S. allowed me the time to get the necessary paperwork done to enter the ROTC program. Now I'm ecstatic about my future. I've found that people who I've tried to help go the same route are too lazy to do anything about their current situation. If you want a new direction, it's on you.

I'm a cop and its a great job. The pay is great, job is pretty secure, benefits are excellent. It is a fun job but like another person posted it is something you WANT to do. I have seen a lot of people go through the academy, get hired on, hit the streets, only to find out its not for them.
You see some horrible stuff when you're a cop. You see the best of humanity and also the very worse.. the latter are usually the ones that we deal with. Trust me, I have dealt with some real scum bags in my time on the streets...

Why not find a job that makes you happy, that you feel accomplished doing?? I always thought the whole point of going to college was to find a job you like doing, so that you aren't forced to work at some place that you hate just to get by. So that you have the option to quit, because your degree says that you are worth more. (Of course people get a degree for the money as well) You should do something that makes you happy, instead of trying to buy happiness in your off time. Quote:
