Sorry... so far, this actually looks worse to me than a normal M4. The front almost has that whale-like QX80 vibe to it.

I'll reserve full judgement until the thing is fully revealed but at the moment it looks like an aftermarket SEMA build.

At least they tried to match the 3.0 CSL Hommage Concept though only the grille somewhat. Rest is all M4 with attachments. Shame could have been special and worth the premium cost.

It's not even clear whether the 3.0 Hommage is street legal - also, there could be exemptions for very low numbers of a model regarding security guidelines.

I'm pretty sure BMW didn't just come up with the M3/M4 hoodline to piss us off, there must be regulatory or security reasons for this.
