People have forgotten how to drive. With all these part shortages and receiver chips still not available bodyshops are backlogged.

Closing the loop.

Accident to body shop appointment: 4 months
Body shop repairs: 1.5 months
Accident to repair completion: 5.5 months

Recommendation: don't get in a collision if you can avoid one, the delays in the entire process are significant.
