I loved my time in Upstate NY. I really wish they would separate from NYC so I could move back.

There was some british psychologist who basically did a whole thing on this, getting the lie out first meant that stupid people (he did not plainly say that, but had more scientific terminology) would still believe the lie even if presented with evidence of the truth.

So this thread ends up being salient but for a different point. Yeah, it shows the decline of our society but not because of a stupid law, peoples sheep like nature in their desire to be superior/smart to believe that a real law is stupid based on a lie.
