Nah, I see where you're coming from. I personally think the X5/X7 blows every SUV out of the water, including the exotic ones. The G8x grew on me but I still think they're way too expensive. Didn't stop me from trying to get a CSL but 200k for an M4 is just silly.

Yeah the G80 is expensive.... but not any more so than the competition. Within its class I still think it's the best option. RS5 isn't in the same league in terms of performance and fun (and yet somehow more expensive than the G80). The C63 is turning into a 4 banger. The Giulia is a great driving experience but the interior is really downmarket. And the cadillacs are sort of in between classes. CT4 BW is between an m340i and M3 and CT5 is between an M3 and M5.

You've said that before. I feel different. I'll be 68 this Jan and I feel like life has been long. Enjoying every bit of it and hoping for another 20 years or so.

Awesome color choices, I love me some Grey and Blue. I did a individual E46 in Sterling Grey. I loved the color on the X5 so much I had one custom ordered.
Side note~do you find it hard to see out of the back of the X6? My wifre might be a little shorter but had a hard time driving it b/c of the rear visibility |

I'm just thirteen years into the obsession and have owned two 3Series, my current E92 has been a satisfying experience. I may be looking for an older X5 or an even older Defender 90 or FJ40, depending on my budget in the future.

Not so much now but it took a while to transition from the X5 to the first generation X6. The rear window was much smaller then and the ass was higher. It had huge blind spots from the C pillars. I put spot mirrors on my side view mirrors and got used to it.

This Off-Topic thread seems curiously On-Topic to me. But the real surprise is how smokin' hot cmyx6go is!
And, yeah, I loved Sterling Gray as well -- so much so that I special-ordered an E46 M3 in that color just like Tommy-G did.

Last weekend I got to spend the afternoon at the Performance Center here in SC driving M4’s, M5’s and an X4M. The performance of the first two were not a surprise but man that X4M was equally amazing! Wish they had an X6M out there to experience…

I knew that, but one of the things that age has given me -- I'm a few years older than you -- is the ability to see beauty in women of a certain age. To see through the wrinkles and other signs of age and see the true essential beauty.

I’ve probably missed one or two. I think the 750Li I currently own/drive (and the only one I currently own) will probably be my last as I don’t like the current designs and need something more like a Tahoe. |

Speaking of smoking hot, that MBB is terrific! I've got this thing for San Marino Blue but Marina Bay Blue is just as good.
