Carbon Black is more similar to Jerez Black - I can't tell the difference. Tanzanite is bluer than both of those blacks.

Black in some light, and blue in others. Pretty simple.
My wife's Monaco Blue is very similar but never goes full black. Equally difficult to keep clean though.

There was a carbon black M3 and a tanzanite m4 right next to each other at my dealership when I went to get my X3 serviced. Tanzanite is definitely more blue, the carbon black can look black in the shade with little to no blue hue.

Not a fan of carbon black at all. My mom has it on her X5. It's 100% a boring dark blue.

BSM looks so much sharper and sportier.
