Guys, Bmw is not catering to the average Joe. They are catering to a small select market of people with six-figure incomes just like Porsche and Audi and Mercedes, and every other luxury car maker.

There are plenty of other manufacturers out here building $60,000 cars that are worth the money you have Acura you have Lexus you have Volkswagen you have many sorts of manufactures who are building really nice SUVs between $50 and $70,000.

When you go and buy a tag watch or a Breitling or Rolex, you don’t tell the company that the product is overpriced.

Lol, I think that is the XM.
They uses the camouflaged video to explain the past phase to the new phase.

Not clear from the pic how it would look or drive. Not teased with it.

One of the main concerns is that the rear door seems to follow other stupid manufacturers by not being protected by a fender arch but rather being exposed to elements, bombarded by gravel and of course dirt ending in rust.
Not to mention, designwise, this approach was never appealing.

So basically the "New neue klasse" is more of the same. People who actually get excited about this are the same people who drink Bud Light.

Looks like the follow on to the iX. As an iX owner, I can dig that. Maybe by the time my lease is up in 2026 this will be a worthy replacement.

I'll look at a full-ev as a daily once the range is 400mi+ and 10-15 min max charging. Other than that, no interest.

That’s a very reasonable expectation

Very reasonable indeed
