If they haven't considered, they will be forced to consider it soon... as the 1-series US launch gets closer and closer, traffic and the need for additional moderation will increase.

the atmosphere here is pretty good. I've been addicted to i-club.com ever since i got my car. And i probably will continue to go there regardless what what kind of car i own. Just because i've made so many friend and know so many ppl on that board. I think if the 1er takes off and becomes a trend setter, the number of owners will steadily increase. Might to a point where we will have regional sub forums. I think that's what i like the most about i-club.

even though its kinda entertaining, the spam needs to go immediately at these members banned and their emails banned. Plain and simple we need a few more people to oversee things.

As mentioned earlier, some of the Acura forums get nasty. True words. Unfortunately, that same crowd will be drawn to the 1 series, especially when the 1 series has been on the market long enough to be available on the used/previously owned/CPO market. At that point, the cars will be within reach of the "import tuner" crowd and they will find their way here. Look at what I drive, I know of that which I speaketh. Moderators with a sense of humor (!) are a very good idea.
I predict the following posts: -What blowoff valve should I get? -Does this wing look tite yo? -Can I fit twenties on my 135i? -What airbags give my ride the phat low drop? -135i vs. EVO X vs. '08 STi And kill posts, lots of kill posts: -Me vs M3 last night -Vette vs 135i FTW yo! |

You speak the truth man. I'm a member of 3 other forums and a sense of humor is a must.

I agree this is a very respectful & informative forum. Coming from a few Acura/Honda sites its nice to see the actual car being discussed and not egos. Plus I think because this kind of car does attract an older crowd. YAY FOR 1 ADDICTS !!!!!
