The lesser the spokes the easier to clean with an old long handled wash up brush, small bucket of warm water with wash up liquid, when the bottom halves are done move the car couple or so feet and do the other halves.

Ceramic brake pads will produce far less brake dust and last longer, but they are not suitable for spirited driving (Autobahn use, track days, etc). If you are just driving on normal roads at speeds less than 100 mph I would go for them.
I found that foamy wheel cleaner can penetrate into those difficult-to-clean areas more easily than normal wheel cleaner and you can just rinse it off afterwards. |
