I never got an answer on that as the car was having the head unit replaced and was said to be the solve for a lot of the issues, then told the TCU is bad and replaced, now the gps antenna is being replaced.

I will address when I have a sit rep call with them tomorrow

Unless you have split screen as a new feature on ID9, I don't think it's possible at the moment. If you are using Drive Recorder to do continuous recording, like was stated above you will need a USB-C flash drive to record to, manually start it every time you get in, and not navigate away from the app until you want to stop recording. Because of those limitations, I got a traditional dash cam for continuous recording, and will use drive recorder to record additional footage in case of a collision.
