Do you have to switch to maintain battery everytime you start the car

Maintain has to be selected each time you want to maintain the charge in the vehicle. We do it ONLY on longer journeys or longer motorway two way trips so we have EV for around time and the start / Middle / end of the journey.

The other way to help the car is to put the entire route into the sat nav back to where you start if that is what you are doing. The car then decides itself when to use ICE or EV to get the most efficient journey. I works pretty well, it leaves you with charge to use them a slower 30mph and around town that it can use most efficiently.
