Except mountain climbing and bull fighting - Those are the only other REAL sports, IIRC, at least as far as Ernest was concerned (but how far can we trust a guy who would steal a urinal).

Since this has become the unofficial "annoying posters" thread, I am wondering: Who else hits the "New Posts" button, scans the threads, looks at the last posters name and thinks "Hell no, I'm not clicking on that"?

Good policy. There are people whose names I see in a thread and just keep moving. Some I am pretty certain are trying to get people to engage in argumentation, which I consider flattering, but I am resisting the bait these days. They may be the ones who never learned that thing about flies and honey. Or have stocked up on vinegar, perhaps.

I saw an episode of Cops about that. The winner was supposed to get a free TV. Instead it was just an empty box and the winner was handcuffed and taken away. They were very surprised. 😲

I scan new posts more for spam most days, out of habit from my now-former job.....

This is exactly right! Why i try and make them a source of amusement. It never got to the point yet that I needed to mute anyone, but I am sure it will.
