The Ferrari Cabin is supposed to be a "protective shell" for it's driver and break off behind the firewall in a bad crash. But this person slammed the cabin of the Ferrari into a pole that sheered the cabin in half. I don't think any protective cage can protect someone from a 100+ mph smash directly into a pole.

So another dumb-f*ck millionaire thinks he's Michael Schumacher and gets himself obliterated by racing on the streets?

Good riddance.

I apologize if this sounds crude or insensitive to anyone, but my kid brother had his car flipped and was nearly killed by a f*cking dipsh*t driver in a hit and run a few years back, so I have absolutely NO sympathy for idiots that drive like assholes and race on public roads.

i don't drive like that, and judging from the look of the accident he was doing well over 100 miles an hour NOT on the highway or anything. i have no sympathy. dude got what was coming to him, dude that killed my sister is walking the streets as i type this.
Terribly sorry about the loss of your sister, dama. Hearing stories like yours makes me sick to my stomach. If you're anything like me, being the eldest child in my family, I'm fiercely protective of my loved ones, especially my kid brother, so I really feel for your loss. If anything had happened to my brother that Sunday a few years ago, I'm not sure if I would be here talking to you guys or in jail for murdering the f*cker that hit him.

It's amazing how quickly your perspective changes when situations like these hit home....

Good post.

Good riddance to this phaggot. I give thanks to Darwin for helping us clean the filth from our gene pool, slowly but surely.

This guy had a girl passenger in the car. How dare he take someone else's life in his hands and endanger others. He was racing some guy in a Porsche. Leave this bullshit on the track.

And only phaggots wear Tapout gear.

What I am curious about is what kind of 1977 Porsche was that? 1977 911 didn't have any pace to make a street race interesting. Unless 1977 was a misprint.

Macho Man John (who apparently works for BMW) says we should sell our cars if we have a problem with street racing. He's the same guy who posted vids of himself doing 170mph on the street.

So... what? Because he works for BMW and says street racing is cool, we should all be like him and go screaming through traffic at 150+ MPH?

Sorry to disillusion anyone, but a f*cktard that happens to work for BMW... is still a f*cktard.

While I feel sad for the families and have also done some stupid s**t in my life, racing belongs on the track. It's not right to risk other people's lives. As he proved, accidents do happen. Just glad no one else was injured.

I agree with the other sentiments posted here on the forum. The speed this Ferrari was doing, was way too much for a street. The guy who was driving the porsche has been arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter, as well as a driving under the influence charge. Hopefully he'll have a hard time coming up with the $2 million bail.

The news story I read yesterday was that a Police Officer witnessed the event. During the incident, the porsche hit the Ferrari, causing the Ferrari to crash into the light pole. So, it is sounding like the porsche driver took an active role in making this accident occur.

Too fast for the streets

With great power comes great responsibility. Apparently neither of these individuals had heard that statement.

It may be true, but its not your place to make such a comment. The fact of the matter is this man is now dead. He may have been a dickhead, and he probably was, but once again he's now deceased so maybe a little sympathy for his friends and family is in order
I get that, due to various reasons, many of you have strong opinions on this subject, but that doesnt mean you have to be completely void of remorse.
He really should have taken it to a track, but he didnt, and he has paid the price for his actions. You guys dont have to keep attacking this man.

I agree with all of this, however, he took other people's lives in his hands. You don't do that. He had a passenger with him in the car, and in addition to that endangered all of the other people on the road.

Feel bad for his family? Yes.
Feel bad for him? No.

Let's all be thankful he didn't take anyone else's life but his own. Doesn't always happen that way.
