AM Rapide all the way! I'd never buy a DB9 or Vanquish, but I love the AMV8 and this new Rapide is great. Especially compared to its rivals. Bring on the Audi A7...

... the front looks pretty sleek, almost like a blend of porsche and ferrari styling, but the side profile is just really strange with the hump in the rear.

I like it except for the rear quarter. The cockpit being busy; I can deal with that. Once you know where every button is, you don't have to take your eyes off the road. Muscle memory FTW.

The front quarter shot has grown on me a bit, but the rear profile is still so hideous. I like how they set up the car internally with focus on rear passengers (something lacking these days) but would much rather the Aston aesthetically. Would love to see how it drives.

Even so, I still think it's highly unusual to think about a two-ton, four-door passenger car hitting 60 in less than four seconds with the posted specs. Even if it has extremely short gears, you have to factor in shifting (I know, lightning fast DCT shifts), and traction...I just don't understand it. This thing must have some hella fat rear rubber.

Man....I dont think it's possible....It must be a typing error. The NA engine simply cant be that fast when it lugging around that kind of mass. Think about it, if the NA engine is that fast, imagine what the turbo will be....Sub 3 second??

And I read the article again...There is a portion where it's written that the
Turbo is able to sprint 0-60 in 4 or less seconds. It's written next to the picture of the turbo engine.

Quote:
Porsche claims a 0-60 time of 4.0 seconds for the 4.8-liter twin-turbo engine, rated at 493 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.

If the exterior wasn't bad enough the interior just tops it off as the biggest fail ever.
