Garage List
2008 135i  [6.50]
To me it looks cartoonish. It's like an SL with a steroid overdose. The more I look at it, the more awkward it seems. The whole top of the car looks grafted on, expecially at the rear window. It certainly isn't graceful. It kinda looks like an aftermarket chop job.

Funny you mention that, the rear window is actually imo one of the best improvements to the car over the standard sl.

And hypothetically speaking i would take the sl black over most other exotics, including the Porsche gt.

I think the car looks good, if one can shell out 300K for car, he/she sure has more than one exotic car in his garage. I bet the maintenance is much cheaper.

That is awesome, I had no idea sucha vehicle was even coming out. Does the car still go topless? Why SL and not CL?

It's still an SL, just the "Black Series," which means its the lightweight, "driver's car" variant. It has a fixed carbon fiber roof to reduce weight

Google "SL 65 Black Series" for the full info

im probably in the minority when i say this, but, this car does absolutely nothing for me. its ugly, its bloated, the wheels are hideous, the engine lacks finesse, and the interior is nothing special

Every panel on the car is carbon fiber i believe. When i was holding the hood, it felt like 15 pounds. Heres the funny part, my salesman told me a replacement hood costs about 25k.
