If you were drunk, then yeah...that was bound to happen. Its not the first time, or rare to hear of such. Something similar has happened to me as well as a couple of friends of mine. I was a rookie smoker but a quite seasoned drinker and thought I could handle weed with alcohol at the same time. Boy was I wrong.

Its the mixture of alcohol and the level if wee you took in and cant handle the two together. I must say, I never touched weed again after that (your) situation happened to me. I only stick to booze.

I know you've already stated that your probably going to stay away from weed, so you can think of this as being more for the people telling you it's nothing to worry about.

So far only one person qualified to assess what happened to you (AFAIK) has posted in this thread, that person is "ideliver". You think you had an allergic reaction. The one doctor (again, AFAIK) who posted in this thread thinks you had a severe allergic reaction called anaphylaxis, and that subsequent reactions get progressively severe. You have a few options:


1. Don't smoke weed any more and don't ever worry about whether it was anaphylaxis or not.

2. Smoke weed again and risk going to the ER and getting an epinephrine shot, or worse, winding up dead.

3. Go to an allergist and probably get laughed at when you asked to get tested for an allergy to marijuana.


For me, the choice would be simple. Stick to beer, enjoy the buzz.

well, i wouldnt be worried at all. the gravity bong is not something for beginners. it could be shitty product you smoked also that fucked you over ten times harder which i wouldnt doubt.

Infact, something there sounds fishy. Maybe the weed was cut with glass, which would cause that kind of vomiting. i suggest you dont cop any herb from that friend and find another more trusted friend. heres what you should do, make some brownies. thats the best way to introduce a guarenteed high to your body and will allow you to be familiar with the feeling of being ripped so you can tame and control yourself. Once your able to handle your high then press onto smoking. And dont smoke out of pipes or bongs, stick with a blunt or something rolled on papers. clear cones are nice too.

if you need details, ill be more than glad to help. ohh, and FUCK alcohol, it IS the destruction of mankind.

take advice from people who have at least done this shit. you cant die from smoking pot, its never happened before. in the event that im wrong and u die, you would really be the first man to die from smoking weed in the history of all time. dont be afraid to smoke the smoke.

What you fail to realize is that everyone's body is different and so are their reactions to different drugs. One drug is NOT safe for everyone...so don't imply that.

I imagine your just sensitive to weed....everyone has smoked to much at some point and experienced similar symptoms. You are not an experienced smoker, so you need to take it very slow.

I would recommend mixing the weed with tobacco...roll a joint like the Europeans. That way it's easier to moderate how much you are smoking.

while I agree that it would certainly be unusual for a person to have an anaphlactic reaction to marjiuana...however, it cannot be completely excluded...moreover...he did clearly have symptoms consistent with a severe allergic reaction...the potential allergen could be anything that the product was cut with or the product itself...any ideas on what that could be???

Having personally treated several life threatening drug reactions (all to antibiotics) in a hospital setting...the risk of death is real

Remember, events that are 1 in 100,000,000 actually happen...that is why we buy lottery tickets...
