I think for a model that wanted to continue the gullwing legacy, it is phenomenal in my eyes. The first thought upon seeing it was classic. It really does look like a classic car. The interior I'm not much of a fan of since all MB are starting to look the same =/
However, this car's looks definitely live up to the gullwing to an extent. I'd grab one if I had the cash....oh wait, no I wouldn't :P |

THESE just changed my mind about the whole damn thing.
FUCKING SICK. The lighting helps it sooo much. And that alubeam silver is fucking liquid metal! Love the brightwork when it's on too. And I actually like the rear...and the sides...and...everything. Looks so purposeful, like it has that retro high performance car look to it. It does not look soft.

Yep +1. Like I said in the pics that it does look good, it looks REALLY good. I agree on that paint too it looks brilliant and creates shadows and good lighting effects. I want to see real pics from Frankfurt now

This thing is so badass. The stance is perfect IMO. Makes me proud to have an AMG vehicle.

I like as a whole, but there are so many design cues from other cars if you look at the wrong angle.
Acura CL back 928 taillights SC430 rear bumper R35 headlights etc. The cabin looks awkward, like a hardtop put on a miata or s2000 almost. I think the windshield could use more rake. And the car overall is just not aggresive enough |

god that car is really a pathetic attempt at a reincarnation of the gullwing! there is no curvature to the body what so ever. from the profile view it looks like a boat with wheels. the car is so flat! they could have done so much more with it, and just royally fuxxed it up! and you would think it would get it's own special motor, but no they just dump one of there 6.2's in it. if you ask me it sounds like a chrysler move.

showoff...:P you still have the 335? I am still thinking of getting the C63 (or the Cayman or the new S4... decisions decisions) to compliment my 335

Yeah, the 335 is the garage for the time being. Of those three choices I would most definitely choose the C63. The new S4 is great too (saw it on the road in white) but the Mercedes would be a more powerful complement to the 335 IMO.

Do want the gullwing. This is not suppose be a hardcore track machine hence the classic and softer lines. May appear crude and unsophisticated pulling up in a carbon fiber wrapped body at a 5 star restaurant.
Really, look like a CL? Can't be serious? In that sense I guess the E92 M3 looks like a Geo metro, both have 4 wheels, engine, windshield and runs on petrol |
