Red Bull Racing will be fitting metal plates to its cars' gearboxes this weekend following a strange reason for Mark Webber's retirement from the race last year. Post-race investigations by Red Bull revealed that Webber's gearbox had selected two gears simultaneously resulting in mechanical damage. The team believes that the reason for such a bizarre happening could have been an electrical surge due to an underground train passing below the track. For this reason, the metal plates have been added to the gearboxes plus updates to its software.

Highly ironic spin for Romain Grosjean's Renault saw the Frenchman hit the now infamous 'Piquet wall'.

BMW have brought their biggest update of the year so far for the F1.09 to the Singapore Grand Prix.
The modified car includes a revised front wing similar to that introduced by Force India at Valencia.

What the fuck is wrong with SPEED TV!!!!
Qualifying starts around 4am Pacific time...they don't have ANYTHING boardcast except some muscle car shit...and they have to cut the program utterly short for ONE HOUR in the same to put the F1 qualify as the warm up show for the Le Mans program....fuck...they could've start LIVE at 4am!!! and seems like crashes this year is gonna pull a red flag instead of a safety car....not sure about the practice sessions....but in Q3....probably because there was only 25 seconds left in the session....there's no point to send out the Safety Car and no why to recover the car with all the others are doing a hot lap.... i guess Brawn needs to borrow Renaults Singapore 2008 racing strategy guide tomorrow... and the crash from Rubens effictly ruined RBR's hot lap.....hmmm... j/k~

Same thing here! Qualifying runs at CUT (2 PM) but the local station will broadcast it at 11 PM because of the damn soccer.
