I mean the way this is falling out - its like the absolute ultimate trainwreck for him.
Can you imagine finding out what you thought was a bad dream is not a dream?

fox11 news last night said that gatorade had been thinking of ending production of the drink a while back, and that it has nothing to do with the incident

Everybody needs to calm the fuck down about Woods. Stay out of his and his family's business. I mean shit, he only has a foundation and school that put thousands of kids through school a year and give them scholarships, and he's given more to charity each year than Ray Lewis earns. Fuck, people.

Frankly, after hearing a Imogen Heap song dubbed with news clips of his recorded phone message and other statements play on the radio the other day, I'm just tired and bored with the whole situation. BUT I SURE AM GLAD THAT THE MEDIA DECIDED TO COVER TIGER WOODS' INFIDELITY INSTEAD OF THE COLLAPSING DUBAI ECONOMY. Much more important amirite?

I am not on a "get Tiger" wagon. The opposite actually. I feel for the guy.
My gut tells me he is going to start the season like a man possessed and kick the crap out of the competition. More so than usual. I am completely aware of his efforts to help kids too.

OUCH!
Dec 17, 2009 1:46 PM EDT Tiger Woods is heading for a divorce, according to a report Thursday morning. Elin Nordegren has asked for a divorce according to ABCnews.com, which cited a source close to Woods' wife as saying that a "divorce is 100 percent on." The source said Nordegren plans to move cautiously while waiting to see if there are any new allegations of infidelity on the part of Woods. Nordegren was recently photographed without her wedding ring. "It would not appear that Elin Nordegren is going to be standing by her man," Kate Coyne, senior editor at People Magazine, told "Good Morning America." Coyne also claimed Nordegren is "shopping around" for a divorce attorney. But ABCNews.com's source said Nordegren is not "rushing to divorce." "She's going to take her sweet time. She wants all the dirty laundry to be out on the table before she signs anything."

I'd love to see that. I could care less about his drama. Would be cool to see him throw a victory at everyone's face. |

As much as that would help him get back on track I doubt he even plays this season with the D word coming in. Putting his marriage back together would have been consistent with my comment.
If he does play it won't be until at least May I bet. His absence will hurt The Tour big time.

Even his presence wont help. The number of reporters on the course will go up x10 and all they will be wanting is just more shot/comments from him that are completely unrelated to golf.
His only hope is to stay out of the limelight for a while with the possibility something can be salvaged. The big losers in this are his kids. Their most formative years will be marred by his play off the golf course.

He's handling this all wrong. He needs a new agent.
He needs to go on Oprah and cry about his "problem" and tell the world that he is sorry and that he is going to rehab. Behind the scene, he needs to pay off all the female involved. Sign a contract with them so they can't talk. Most of his fans are men, when he comes back next year, he'll get all the support from us. He'll be a brand new tiger. |
