Actually, going for "ec" and the plug is (WAS) supposed to be a "hidden" object like the FedEx arrow, but I just see the damn plug when I look at it - doesn't seem subtle at all to me, sigh.

Tag is going to be something like "plug in to your potential" but I feel it's kind of trite or forced, ya know?

Well if that's the case, possibly splitting the two elements may help.

Maybe try less contrast between the colors? I also think it needs to be a smaller element. You mention the FedEx arrow, but the arrow is pretty small and not centrally located in the image.
