Naw. People would automatically think "OMG that's a lot of $$$$$$$$$" when they see the word Lamborghini without the reporter having to disclose the cost of the vehicle. How much is P. Diddy worth? 300-400 million? He can't spend another couple hundred thousand to get his son a new car? Everyone in the media would give him shit for it. If I had 300-400 mil, I would never buy anything used for my sons birthday. If I wanted to save some money, I would rather buy him an R8 or GT3, rather than a used Lambo.

That's you though. Hey I'm not saying that he can't or shouldn't buy a new car. I'm just saying that if he was to buy something like a used Veyron over a new Veyron, people that call him a cheapskate are idiots. Those people should stop and think "what was the most expensive thing I've received for my 16th bday?" and they will realize that a used Veyron is probably 1000x more expensive than anything they've ever gotten.

If Diddy really did lease that car, then it's all the more reason that he's smart with his money. That in essence pretty much proves my point. Leasing a Maybach isn't cheap either. Hell I knew a guy that leased an Aston Martin DBS for about $5k or so a month so I can only guess that a Maybach will cost quite a bit more. Now if Diddy went and bought his son a Honda or Toyota, THEN that's a different story.
