I don't keep up with it but I watch some of it at night. I have absolutely no idea what's going on (like who's won which medals, schedule of events, etc.). I just watch whatever comes on when I turn on the TV.

I haven't been following the games at all since I don't really watch TV anymore, but I've been going to some of the free venues. Downtown is packed with drunks at night. I didn't like some people shouting "F*** USA", "F*** China", etc. while carrying a Canadian flag. Morons misrepresenting this country. (End rant.)

olympic coverage in states blows.

who the hell wants to watch hours upon hours of fucking figure skating? i missed the part where dudes on skates wearing retarded (sorry, Sarah Palin) sparkly drag queen outfits became athletes.
i also don't want to see bunch of dudes wearing spandex smurfs outfits skating around in circles and touching each others asses. again, wtf is short track relay and why do we have to see that cheesy fuck Apolo Ohno every 5 minutes? He is an idiot, he looks like an idiot and he acts like a fucking idiot.

Alpine skiing, snowboarding and (maybe) curling are the shit. I see 0 nordic or biathlon coverage on NBC. No hockey coverage either, except for MSNBC during the day hours, while all normal people are working.

Why do we mostly get US teams coverage? There are other countries that compete.

I don't see how anyone can say they DON'T like the olympics. It's great with the camaraderie, the traditions... competition between neighbors and more importantly HAWT FEMALE ATHLETES!

I've been watching every day, all day as much as I can. I have to say, USA Curling = Fail and on a similar note... Russian Womens Curling - kinda hot.

Speaking of hot... Gretchen B is a little cuttie and Lindsay Vonn is a fox.

All of that stuff is on USA network during the day. Watched Hockey USA v Norway yesterday. I've seen Nordic and biathlon a few days in a row too. I think there should be some hockey on this weekend... at least I know USA v Canada is on Sunday.

As strange as it sounds my best friend used to figure skate (you wouldn't know it now cuz he stopped in HS and got into body building and hes jacked up now) but Evan was always a big rival of his and he's been a tool for a long time. My buddy beat him a few times at jr nationals way back when before Evan finally won it but it goes to show you what dedication to someone and lots of practice can do for you. I saw Evan at a party back in like '02 and he was a total ass, full of himself before he really had done anything substantial (and its not like I really cared anyway cuz I'm not into Fagure Skating).
