I need to check this one out, it's on all the top 100 lists I've seen. Also check out The Lucifer Effect by Philip Zimbardo. It's a pretty interesting read and a good lesson on why it is important to not volunteer for "studies."

Right now I'm trying to get through The Life of Pi, seems good so far.

And if you're at all into military stuff check out Inside Delta Force by Eric Haney. I've met a couple people who knew him and said he was kind of a douche, but it was still a great read.

Haven't bought this book yet, but everyone I've talked to rants and raves about it.

Read the reviews, a lot of positive stuff about it.

One of these days I need to make a point to go to Borders and pick it up.

great book, the first part is a little slow (~70 pgs IIRC) but after that it goes very fast. It's an easy read, but thought provoking

If you're just looking for something fun to read, then I'd recommend this:

I've always liked the following:

On the Beach by Neville Shute
The Guns of Navarone by Alistair MacLean
Cannery Row by John Steinbeck

I've had Thriving on Chaos recommended to me and I picked it up, but haven't gone thru it yet.

+1 This is one of my favorite books. A great fiction that's easy to get through.

Another good fiction I enjoyed was Shogun. Can't remember the author, but I believe the last name was Clavell, or something like that.

Picked up a copy a few years ago when it was first mentioned on this forum. The funny thing is that when talking to other guys about it, everyone agrees that everything mentioned in the book is pretty much how they would do it when picking up women.

It was a great read nonetheless. I finished it in a couple of days- couldn't put it down. lol I personally have never used any of the techniques mentioned in the book (although it's more of a story book than a how-to-pick-up-women book). I think at the end of the day, the girl that you get without having to use those techniques on is the keeper (as evident in the book).

Do you want some advice or want us to advise you?

I would recommend The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. Great read for understanding and dealing with life/spirituality as you journey through life.
