they are similar style "races", cross county with nightly stops and parties. there are a few cool dvd's about it. Mischief 3000 is the best one.

I've been following them since I was 15. I went on Facebook maybe once a month prior to this... It was a day before the rally I think or the day of... I went onto Facebook to see Max's feed (maybe provide some updates). His status went something like this "Listen up Gumball fans, we are looking for some crew members with SUV's to help out on the US part of the rally, please send an email to _______". After hoping that I was one of the first to send a reply for about 12 hours an email was sent to me that described what I needed to do. "If this is something that you would like to be a part of please send back a phone number". Got a call next day from a London with a brit on the other end asking for me saying this is Gumball HQ calling , told him I have a car not an SUV and he was fine with it (Guess they became a little desperate that no one else wanted to go No clue why) After that I had to fill out a form send it to them and had to meet them at Bangor Airport in Maine in a few days. *Didn't proof read like usual Quote:

It's like the Bullrun but with a lot more exposure. I think mainly because of the celebrities, followed by the cars and the insanity of it all. Plus it was the original rally that started all these 'spin-offs". Just look up Gumball 3000 on Youtube when you get a chance... I know your busy building a supercharger though :P. Jackass had an hour long special on it way back when.

About the other part so I will explain... They were looking for people with SUVs but I was surprised they let me in with a car considering the loss of space... again maybe a lot of people didn't email them, strange. I didn't live in a 'popular' (populated?) area either. :P... |
