I blame the kids parents. I was raised to respect others. The kid was probably starved for attention so he let peer pressure overtake his common sense and he paid the ultimate price.

i guess im the only one here who doesnt feel for either party kid got what was coming...people who egg cars should not expect to get away scotch free..sure gettin shot and dyin is terrible but what do you expect? egg some cars one night, turns out to be fun and go out and egg some more? thats crap. dont judge me just cause i dont feel for the kid who died. he should not have been doing what he was doing cause if he wasnt, then he would not have been shot. HIS OWN FAULT. in my mind, they both got, or are going to get what they both deserve....

I partially agree with your statement. Is it to much to ask a 14 year old to think about the consequences before they act? Again it stems from the parents not teaching their kid the proper values. I think they are just as much at fault as the kid.

yep. i woulda calmly asked the kid to take me to his parents, then i would just as calmly empty a clip into his parents car. let him deal (but live) with that.

Yeah I think that was just last week. Of the 51 shots fired among 5 officers, 31 of those were fired by one particular officer alone. I couldn't believe that he felt the need to empty his magazine, reload, empty another one, reload again. The best man sitting in the front seat was hit 11 times or something like that. Then to add insult to injury, the cops cuffed the 2 survivors to their hospital beds.

Kids are a lot different from when we were kids. In my neighborhood from 14 year olds on these teens run around breaking streetlights, mailboxes and everything. In fact, for everyone whose posted here about their car being keyed or vandalized, it most likely a group of rowdy teens. The problem is no one parents anymore, and even if they do, everyones too scared of punishing them for doing something wrong, cause of child services and other bullshit. Kids have no respect because they don't think there will be any consequences to their actions, I mean, hey, we can't go to jail till were 18, whats the worse that can happen to us? a slap on the wrist?
Even though I was honestly sickened by the murder of this kid, at the same time, I think it serves as a good lesson for all those lippy, disrespectful, parent crippling kids out there. You are not invincible, consequences do happen, and you better start learning respect for people's property.

Punk got what he deserved. One less future car thief in the world. The SUV driver should get an award. Betcha his buddies won't be egging cars anymore.
BTW if FL if you point a gun at someone to scare him you might as well shoot them because you are going to jail one way or the other.

Throwing eggs at cars? Deserves electrical shock to the testicles, not a bullet to the chest.

Welp, I always thought that Columbus sucked in every way possible. From there unintelligent and belligerent OSU fans, to there being absolutley nothing to do, and no good looking women to look at, go figure. I would be pissed all the time too.

I went to college jsut north of columbus for 4 years, and the only time i went there was to see my lawyer once.

I see it this way it was the end of the kid, not from bullet, then he would be run over by a car the same day. As for shooter, if he lives he lives, if get caught then he deserves it. I mean simple civilians don't carry firearms around. Again as for kid his days were counted.

Hahah I was that stupid when I was young, but we just took rolls of toilet paper and wet them and threw them at cars. No mess really just scared the shit out of them.
Yeah until I started to smoke pot, that's when I chilled out. I think they should just make pot legal. Then everyone would get along great. The guy wouldn't have been so pissed off and shot the kid, and the kid would have had better things to do than throw eggs. Like play video games!

moral of the story.......you never know who you are messing with the one behind the wheel. Egging on coming traffic is stupid and asking for trouble.
As curel as I may sound that was a lesson well learned that cost his life. Sad, he should be shot elsewhere then the chest...

Take care, and stay safe.
