You are correct for one reason, they ARE bidding for next season's supplier, but I believe they are also current supplier for some supporting races before the F1 Practice sessions, Qualifying and Race. http://www.scribd.com/doc/32098412/F...Prix-Timetable This weekend there's also Porsche GT3 Cup, GP2, and GP3 races going on. http://www.pirellityre.com/web/motor...s/default.page They are the suppliers for the GP3 races.

Team meltdown for RBR???
Or just two hot headed aggressive team mates...and an unlucky race incident. Awesome race today and great action!

This was an amazing race. It's good to see teammates who aren't afraid to race each other, but at the same time it's imperative to show respect and give each other room or else things go down like they did for Red Bull.

Dammit Vettel! At least Mark still ended up on the podium. You could feel the tension during his post race interview. Man, I'd love to be there when those two meet to discuss the incident.
My take: Vettel was clearly faster on the run up to the incident. He ate Webber up on the run to that corner. Webber should have given him a bit more room. There was plenty of race left for him to have countered the pass. Vettel should have let the team know ahead of time that he felt he was faster and wanted to make the pass. Damn....interesting season ahead.

Racing incident. They both could have given a bit more room. Weber was very professional about his remarks in the interview room. I was impressed considering I'm not a fan of his, well done Weber.

you can see webber was trying to pick the right word to be political correct and not putting more fuel on fire...
yah...both drivers are responsible for the incident... vettel could've alert the race engineer that he is faster and WILL overtake webbo soon.... and webber could've leave a bit more room to vettel....but as we know webber was known of pushing other drivers out of the track.....so this time he hold his lane and give "just enough" room for vettel.....and everything ended in tears.... later how LH and JB demostrated teammate dual was very professional....both going back and forth corner to corner but enough room not to crash into each other.... there was a slight contact but everyone is "happier" without a crash... except the overreacting Nicole...

Now its all down to Christian Horner how to handle teammate wars...
I bet they all seen what happened with McLaren in 2007....and took a good lesson.... Now the teammate wars are still being treated very maturely and professionally. I can even say both Button and Hamilton grew up and respect each other's race...as well as they both KNOW they will have to race for the team.

damn shame what happened. I'm a big fan of Vettel, ever since he started racing F1, so its hard to see something like that happened, specially since he seems to be getting the short end of the stick this year. It was def both their fault, but we really dont know if he did relay messages or not, maybe they just werent aired. who knows. Webber has lots of room to give but Vettel didnt wanna loose too much pace either since LH was not too far back. Either way sux to see, inter teams wars usually are pretty interesting, i remember from when i was i kid, watching Senna and Prost go at it
I'm also a huge LH fan and it was pretty scary watching him and JB go at it in various corners. This is why this is one of my fav tracks, lots of action. And they handled it quiet well, think there was some minor contact. I just couldnt believe they would even try it since Vettel and Webber had already wrecked. Overall a great race, cant wait for Montreal! |

Check this out; Webber did make it extremely hard to pass and pushed him to far inside. I think they are both at fault

During the race I thought Vettel was in the wrong,
but with that^; clearly Weber should have given up the position with Vettel 2M ahead and with the inside line.

Yeah but if you watch, Webber never moves off his line. It is Vettel who moves on him. Yes they're both at fault for not giving eachother more room as team mates, but Webber never moves from his line.

Seems like we know who Helmut Marko favors now. Vettle was running out of room to have a clean line into that corner, hence he has to swerved right into Webber in hoping he would back off. Why should Webber give up his position simply because Vettel was under threat from LH, I dont understand that remark from Helmut, so he should pass the buck to Webber to fend off LH? With that said, I think there is a deep rival starting between SV and MW, especially with all the bad luck that had happened to SV lately.
