And Em's first 3 albums all had different beats every song. Almost every song on the new album seems to be a sample of the previous song. And this tempo never changes throughout the album. Old Eminemn is greatly missed! I still rock the first 3 albums quite a bit. |

I think its Em's best album yet. I love how he apologizes for his last two albums too. It takes balls for a rapper to admit that he screwed up.
Em is the best rapper ever

Garabge, no subject matter, hes trying to hard he is better off doing features.
He just has nothing to talk about, sad cause he is untouchable as far as lyrics, flow, etc. I'm tired of listening to him.

In my opinion Eminem is one of the greatest rapers out there right now. All those new rappers on the radio that use autotune and stuff are GAY.
Sure, his style is a lot different this time around, but thats the point. The beats are a little funky and seem weird, some of them have a guitar in the background and whatnot. However Eminem flows very well on each beat, and is showing that he can put down on any beat given. His new style is a result of him maturing, its not all about making fun of people and his accents anymore he wanted to show he can be different. This album wasn't supposed to be funny, its more of a serious tone. Listen to his lyrics, they are amazing. He has puns inside of puns throughout his verses and the way he flows and rhymes is just amazing, its not just one syllable rhymes. He rhymes inside of a rhyme. And his delivery is also awesome in my opinion, his voice is more serious now and he spits fast and in a badass way. EM is showing that hes still here and is able to spit on any beat and change, not just do the same old stuff. I think this album reinserts Eminem as the best rapper right now. Just my take on Recovery |

LMAO! You can't be serious! You'll put him even above Jay-Z?
Compare lyrics, Wayne will never be able to compete with Jay-Z or Em. Period! As for Em apologizing, I think the only thing he "should" apologize for is for "Kim". The whole premise behind the first two albums were to make people think he's actually crazy. Remember, "Criminal"? When he says "....well if you believe that, I'll kill you. haha" Sums up the first two albums. "Stan" and him doing the duet with Elton John proved he does what he does for the hype it creates for him. I understand everyone maturing, but he doesn't need to apologize for songs he wrote. Because those songs were in direct relation to the stresses of his childhood/life. |

Em has been one of my favorite rappers since he started. I've always supported him by actually buying his cds (I download most everyone else except him and Lil Wayne, my two favorite artists). This CD is amazing. Just listening to his lyrics give me chills. Its awesome. I'm so happy he is back and back to writing good shit. His last couple albums were just meh, but this is fucking sick. BTW, him and Jay-Z are going to be on Letterman friday night. Em is doing the "Top Ten Eminem Pieces of Advice for the Kids," Jay Z is a guest and they are performing three songs i think.
ps, i agree Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive right now IMO, Eminem is not far behind though. |
