You're wrong. He spent $35K total. $24K for the car and probably 10K or so in aftermarket.

This is why I no longer post/lurk there. 95% of car threads on misc make me rage so bad I can't workout until I vent to my friend.
Miscers should stick with bro science not car topics |

Dont all clown on a modded SRT-4.... they arent joke cars. I still drive my highly modded 500+whp SRT-4 daily.
They guy commenting on them, is a tool. The stage kits were not factory, they were offered from Mopar Aftermarket. A stg 3 SRT-4 would outperform an M3 of its day, anytime in a straight line to top speed, and wouldnt do to shabby on a road course either but that is where the M3 shines. Doesnt make the SRT-4 bad, but thats the M3s bread and butter. Point is the guy was a turd, and misguided, but his fundamentals were sound. My Neon outperforms my BMW in EVERY aspect (except gas milage), and would put an embarrassment clinic on an M3. It doesnt look as refined, not as flashy, but to me, its the performance that counts and not the wrapper. |

If I had .25c for everytime they said bro, brah, breh, I'd have enough to buy 2 M3s!!!
Man that OP has such hatred for M3s even though he says he doesnt. It simply comes down to one thing, if he doesn't like that a base M3 that costs 60k is "crap" then he simply shouldn't buy one and STFU about it. No one cares about his opinion.

people who haven't driven luxury cars don't know what they are missing...
they think that all cars are shit.. my friend used to always tell me I have a heavy foot (he used to drive a cavalier). Before giving back my 5 series from lease (at the time), I let him drive it. Needless to say he finally understood that it wasn't a heavy foot but just that our gas pedals don't need to be slammed into the ground to get power out of our engines.. The first time I drove my friend's jetta, I started breaking at a stop sign where I would with the BMW.. I ended up burning the stop sign lol... point is, these people should go test drive one before they comment.. we aren't paying 60k$+ (I wish M3s went for that much here) for 0-60... it is a full package
