I think the acura's might be ahead of their time.
Look back at the older ones, they look great!

i'm pretty sure 4300k is oem on acuras. what makes them so clear/intense is the higher quality of the projectors. Here's an example of the difference upgrading the projectors can do while keeping the bulbs the same temp:

EDIT: the pics are of an E46 M3 with a TFX projector swap (what i was planning to do before thanksgiving... )

you're right and they look damn nice for OEM. the projectors really do make a difference.

I actually leased a TSX in february. Gotta say the exterior of the car is butt ugly, but i fell in love when i sat in it. The interior is miles ahead of my 335i. And some of the technology is mind blowing. I love sitting in the car and a few seconds later the music from my iPhone starts playing on my stereo via bluetooth. Easily my favorite feature... which was standard. I honestly say for the price you cant beat it. I would take it over an A4, c250 and 328 sedan. Which are all at least $10k more than the TSX. Are moderate looks worth $10,000?

Have to agree on Acura's new styling direction. I owned 3 Acuras prior to getting my E90. When the time came to get a new car last year I test drove the new TL and could have got a really good deal on one, but just couldn't get past the styling so I got my E90 instead (after looking a quite a few other options). The new TL was otherwise a good car with lots of features, nice power, and great handling, but the styling was just too much and I couldn't see myself walking out every morning and looking at it.

agree about Acura. I think the TSX is their least offensive car at the moment. The TSX wagon coming soon actually doesn't look that bad from the pictures.

Honda's now are also just plain horrible. The last nice looking car they had was an S2000. I guess the civics aren't that bad either. Every time I seen any variation of the current Accord, I want to puke.

The TSX used to be pretty nice, but then they gave it the snow plow grill and the slab sides and now it's just another boring sedan with an ugly snout. But after all, Honda stopped making performance cars so what should we expect.

I really wish Honda would make a consumer version of the HSV-010 GT.

I loved the RSX. Since then nothing they've done has really caught my eye.

But then again, I fell in love with the 1 series looks the first time I saw it advertised. And to hear some people's opinions, the 1er is so ugly you would turn to stone if you looked directly into the headlights.

In all honesty, if it wasn't for the 1er I wouldn't have any interest in getting a BMW. And that's not a money thing, the dealer had me prepped and ready for a 335 coupe if I wanted it. So the 1er, as ugly as you might think it is, did attract buyers to BMW that wouldn't have been there otherwise. Acura must be the same because I sure see lots of them.

Some like a tight ass, some like a big butt, some want double Ds, some like em small and firm. It takes all types and they all deserve to be loved.

I agree with the OP. New Acura's are definitely no eye candy.

And the other ''negative'' about them is that they are always lacking in technology. For e.g: they don't offer any V8 or any other powerful alternative engine, 6 speed automatic(recently introduced in ZDX when everyone else is offering 7 or 8 speed auto), RWD, Direct injection, a hybrid, parking assist, etc.

I simply want to point out is that they are always lagging behind the competition. And now from the looks of it, they are lagging behind in the design department as well. Total fail for Acura.

+2.

And I also wish they revive the old NSX. My advice to the cheap A$$ Acura/Honda CEO is that, they can just use the old chassis design with a new engine, sub 80K price like the GTR and call it a day

Honda's HID projectors is probably best in class. Use to love how the lights on s2000 flicker over highway expansion joints

Really? The TL? I wish I could tell what was the front and what was the back of that car. What were they thinking when they tacked on that chrome boomerang on the rear?
