It is the result of having more money than brains. Totally pointless, and Ihave no idea why people think it is SOOOO COOOOLLL. I was watching in hopes of seeing his motor blow and/or tires pop and rip some body panels apart. I saw a guy do this at big show here in LA with his new ZR1. Tires went POW!, and then body was like, Say what!? and then there were tears, but I was laughing my ass off. There was a ton of damage. The entire rear portion of the car needed to be replaced, and the rocker panels, brake ducts in the rear were destroyed, as well as one of the shocks was bent from the force of the explosion. RIms were toast as well.

I figure it would end up cost several thousand dollars to fix it all.

Money can not buy common fucking sense. He thought he would just need to spend another 800 bucks on tires for a little show off time. Not sure if someone got it on vid.

What a waste.

is it just me or does the sound of that M5 V10 engine, coupled with the design of the E92, flow together much better than the M5 V10 engine with the M5 body?

I'm with most of the posters here. It does nothing for me to see someone destroy a pair of tires. If I really wanted to smoke, I would rather light a cigar with a hundred dollar bill. It would be much more enjoyable.

But some people like this kind of auto-abuse.

So it reminds you of what F1 cars going through the pits sound like? Cause that's about the only time you'll hear a F1 motor bouncing off of revlimiter.

You can find a rusted out/small minor accident damaged neon here in the Midwest for next to nothing.. Didn't say it would be pretty, but I could still make tire smoke with it.

Along the lines of ugly neons, check this baby out.

I would pay 3000 dollars to test drive it in front of the owner and drive it off a cliff

Notice how it says "30k invested, drift mopar" I'm trying to think of the last time I saw a front wheel drive drifting car...

That car is nothing but a tragically epic fail/waste of money. The car is hideous as it is, I never thought someone could go and make it worse.

Do people not understand he's a professional drifter? He's sponsored by Nitto so tires don't matter. And the car is built to do basically this exact thing. I think he knows what he's doing...

OP said "E92 burnout = sex". If masturbation = sex, then you could say this burnout = sex. I will still call it auto abuse.

I have seen video of his driving before (can't remember if it was sattelite TV or youtube). Awesome driver. But this burnout is an embarrassment.

It must have been quite some competition. Were they all doing the same thing?
